The writer Defeo Said there was different classes The poor who lived miserable-There was a mother who found some money on the street and bought a calf heart and brought it back to her kids and went to look for logs to make a fire and when she got back she found out the kids have eaten all of it The poor-A miner could earn £4 a year! and a women could earn £1 a year the writer Defeo said "The women was plump and healthy and the kids look clean and tidy" When he gave them money the women nearly fainted with happiness The farmer's-The farmer's where different the poor and rich the poor farmers owned very little and were paid very little the rich owned a lot of land and got a lot of money The people who lived o.k. A priest could be poor but they where fed very rich. One women said "There was a lot of priest around a table and there was a lot of food" The rich-they earned there money by selling slaves and selling goods these people could earn £10,000 a week The rich who lives profously (lot's to spare)-They where kings and lords they usally earned £100,000 a year
